Telstra's Global Operations Centre frequently hosts international delegates from all over the world with the majority of delegates visiting from Asia and Europe. On many occasions, international delegates came from countries where English is not their first language. This meant holding presentations, delivering technical demonstrations and engaging in conversation was difficult for all parties concerned.
Telstra needed a technology-led solution that provided remote access to professional and competent interpreters for their meetings with international delegates. ezispeak provided Telstra with an end-to-end solution which comprised of a remote simultaneous interpreting platform that that allowed delegates to watch and listen to presentations and technical demonstrations in their own language with the support of simultaneous interpreters whilst the senior executives presented and communicated in English.
